Healthy Pumpkin Spice Protein Powder Cookies
No matter how much we try and claim otherwise, cake is delicious. How can it not be? It’s sweet, soft on the mouth, and eating it feels like you’re being hugged from within. Rather than tell you to curb your cake cravings with a handful of nuts or a piece of broccoli, here is how you can literally have your cake and eat it.

Not-So-Basic Pumpkin Spice Dream
The iconic flavor is actually a combination of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. It was traditionally used to flavor all manner of pies and sweetmeats, but from the 1930s was essentially pre-packaged as a ready-mix for pumpkin pie.

Now onto your guilt-free recipe.

¼ Cup of oat flour
¼ Cup Protein powder (we recommend vanilla!)
2 tbsps Maple Syrup
1 banana
1 Cup of pureed pumpkin seasoned with:
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon allspice
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350, and prepare your baking tray. with parchment and grease.

Step 2
Mashup your banana, and combine it with your seasoned pumpkin puree. Add your flour, protein powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the mixture and whisk it all until it is smooth. The consistency should be quite sticky.

Step 3
Form your mix into 12 cookies, placing them 1 inch apart roughly on your baking tray. Ideally, you don’t want to go any closer than that, because you’ll end up with one giant morphed cookie monster.

Step 4
Bake your cookies. They should have a sort of flapjacky, soft, and squishy texture and will taste delicious.

Not only that, but they are actually healthy and full of vitamins, as well as being low on refined sugar and carbohydrates. Our protein powder will add that muscle-boost!
